Los Angeles Theatre

Another Broadway theatre being renovated by the Delijani family, this stop was even more unexpected as it was dark and locked tight when we arrived. But the same very kind and generous gentleman that gave us a tour of the Palace, came over and guided us through this theatre as well. We entered the pitch black lobby and were mesmerized as he flipped on the lights one by one.

Everything about this theater was fascinating - from the stunning lobby all the way down to the extravagant ladies room, with its 16 different types of marble. The theatre also boasts gorgeous parquet floors, a large, empty lounge and restaurant space, and an intriguing if somewhat creepy kids’ room (made extra creepy because we were using a flash light and camera flashes to light up the obviously very old murals on the wall.)

If you ever get the opportunity to see this magnificent space, be sure not to pass it up.
